Structuring of transactions

Arrangement of Financing
Usually, project financing structure involves a number of equity investors, a 'syndicate' of banks or other lending institutions that provide loans to the operation.
They are most commonly non-recourse loans, which are secured bya wide range of financial instruments such as certificates of deposit, corporate bonds and bank guarantees, to name but a few or/and by the project assets and paid entirely from project cash flow, rather than from the general assets or creditworthiness of the project sponsors, a decision in part supported by financial modeling.
Trading
The difference between trading and investing lies in the means of making a profit and whether you take ownership of the asset.
Traders attempt to profit from buying low and selling high (going long) or selling high and buying low (going short), usually over the short or medium term.
Investors will also attempt to profit from buying shares at a low price and selling high, but over a longer term.
